KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot Menu

KPOT Catering: Large Parties, Buyouts and Cost

KPOT catering is really large-party booking. The per-head math, how far ahead to call, and why the food does not travel.

Search KPOT catering and you will not find a tray menu, because there is not one. KPOT sells access to a grill and an induction burner built into your table — that is the entire product, and it does not fit in a chafing dish. What KPOT actually does for groups is large-party booking and, at some locations, private events and full buyouts. Here is how that works and what it costs.

Why the food does not travel

Every item on the KPOT menu arrives raw. Bulgogi, LA galbi, pork belly, sliced ribeye, enoki mushrooms, udon — none of it is cooked in a kitchen, and the two-hour meal is the cooking. There is no equivalent of a barbecue chain loading a pan of pulled pork into a hot box. If you want Korean flavors delivered to an office, you are looking for a Korean restaurant with a kitchen, not KPOT. If you want to feed thirty people Korean barbecue in one room, KPOT is genuinely one of the cheapest ways to do it in America.

The per-head math

Group cost at KPOT is arithmetic, not a package sheet. Multiply heads by the tier price for the day and time you are booking:

Before tax, gratuity and drinks. The number that should decide your booking: a 30-person weekday lunch costs $360 less than the same 30 people on a Saturday, for identical food. Nothing is removed from the lunch selection. If your group can meet between 11am and 3pm Monday to Friday, do that.

What to expect on the bill beyond the AYCE price

  • Automatic gratuity — most locations add it for parties above six or eight. Assume 18 to 20 percent.
  • Premium add-ons are per person, not per table. Let a party of twenty order American Wagyu at $15.99 each and you have added $320 to a $660 bill.
  • Alcohol is separate and priced at normal restaurant rates. Soju and beer are not part of the all-you-can-eat.
  • Waste charges. Most locations charge for significant uneaten food, and large tables over-order more than small ones. Brief your group to order in rounds.
  • Kids are cheaper — $10.99 at lunch, $14.99 weekday dinner, $16.99 weekends, ages 4 to 10, with under-threes free.

How to seat a large group

KPOT is a four-to-six person restaurant scaled up by joining tables, and each table has one grill and one burner. Thirty people is five or six cooking stations, not one big one. Two practical consequences: seat people who like the same broth together, because a split pot only holds two, and put at least one confident cook at each table or half your group spends the night waiting on raw meat.

Booking and notice

There is no central catering line — KPOT runs roughly 80 franchised locations and each one handles its own group bookings. Call the specific restaurant, not the chain. A week of notice is enough for ten to twenty people on a weekday; for a weekend evening, or anything above thirty, give two to three weeks. Friday through Sunday is the hardest ask in the building, because those are the shifts with a waiting list at the door and a two-hour table limit that exists precisely to move people through.

Full buyouts and private-room events happen at some locations and not others, and pricing for them is quoted per venue rather than published. If you are comparing formats for a company dinner, the KPOT price tiers and full menu are the only fixed numbers you will get, and the barbecue catering guide covers what a delivered tray service costs per head if you decide the group needs food that travels.

KPOT Catering: Large Parties, Buyouts and Cost — FAQs

Does KPOT do catering or delivery of trays?

No. Every KPOT item arrives raw and is cooked by you at a built-in grill or induction burner, so there is nothing to pack into trays. KPOT handles groups through large-party bookings and, at some locations, buyouts and private events in the restaurant itself.

How much does KPOT cost for a party of 20?

Twenty adults costs $499.80 at weekday lunch, $659.80 at weekday dinner and $739.80 on a weekend, before tax, gratuity, drinks and any premium add-ons. Most locations add automatic gratuity for parties above six or eight.

How far in advance should I book a large group at KPOT?

A week is usually enough for ten to twenty people on a weekday. For a weekend evening or a group above thirty, give two to three weeks. Book with the individual restaurant — there is no central catering line across the roughly 80 locations.

What is the cheapest way to feed a large group at KPOT?

Weekday lunch, Monday to Friday between 11am and 3pm, at $24.99 a head. The selection is identical to dinner, so a 30-person lunch runs $360 cheaper than the same 30 people on a Saturday.
