Most restaurant hours pages are a formality. This one is not, because at KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot the clock sets the price. Walk in at 2:45pm on a Wednesday and the all-you-can-eat rate is $24.99. Walk in at 4:15pm on the same day and it is $32.99. On Saturday it is $36.99 from the moment the doors open. Here are the hours that matter and the ones that cost money.
Standard KPOT hours
| Day | Opens | Closes |
|---|---|---|
| Monday to Thursday | 11:00am | 10:00pm |
| Friday | 11:00am | 11:00pm |
| Saturday | 11:00am | 11:00pm |
| Sunday | 11:00am | 10:00pm |
Every day of the week opens at 11am. Only the close moves, and only by an hour: 10pm Sunday through Thursday, 11pm Friday and Saturday. With roughly 80 franchised locations, a mall-adjacent restaurant may follow the property's hours instead, so confirm the specific address before a late drive.
The three windows that set your price
- Lunch, Monday to Friday, 11am to 3pm — $24.99. The full menu, nothing removed.
- Weekday dinner, Monday to Thursday, 4pm to close — $32.99.
- Weekend, Friday from 4pm and all day Saturday and Sunday — $36.99.
The trap is the weekend row. Saturday and Sunday carry weekend-dinner pricing from open, so an 11:30am Saturday table costs $36.99 while the identical 11:30am table on Friday costs $24.99. Kids aged 4 to 10 track the same windows at $10.99, $14.99 and $16.99, and children three and under eat free with a paying adult.
The 3pm to 4pm dead hour
Lunch pricing stops at 3pm and weekday dinner pricing starts at 4pm, and what happens between them is not standardized across the chain. Some locations hold the lunch rate until the shift changes; others switch the moment the clock turns. Do not gamble on it — be seated before 3pm, not standing at the host stand at 2:55 behind four other parties. The full tier structure is on the KPOT pricing and best-value day breakdown.
Last seating and the two-hour clock
Most locations enforce a two-hour table limit, and it interacts with closing time in a way people get caught by. If the restaurant closes at 10pm, arriving at 9:15pm does not buy you a leisurely dinner — expect the kitchen to stop accepting new rounds from the tablet roughly half an hour before close, which at a cook-your-own restaurant means the last raw plate has to hit the grill with time to actually cook. As a rule, be seated at least ninety minutes before the posted close, and two hours if you want the full four-round progression.
When it gets busy
Nothing sells out at KPOT the way brisket sells out at a smokehouse — the ingredients are raw stock, not a day's cook. What runs out is tables. Friday evening through Sunday is a waiting-list building, and the two-hour limit exists precisely to move that queue. The quietest service is Monday to Thursday between 11am and 1pm, which is also the cheapest, which is the single most useful overlap on this page.
Holidays
Holiday hours are set per franchise, not centrally. Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are the three where behavior diverges most — some locations close entirely, some run a shortened day, and some hold normal hours and take reservations. New Year's Eve and Lunar New Year tend to be full-hour, fully booked evenings. Call the restaurant rather than trusting an aggregator listing; more detail on the holiday pattern sits on the KPOT Thanksgiving and holiday page, and the full price list is on the KPOT menu page.
