Is KPOT open on Thanksgiving?
It depends entirely on the location. The chain runs roughly 80 franchised restaurants and holiday hours are set per owner, not centrally. Three patterns show up:
- Closed all day. Common for standalone restaurants with local staffing.
- Shortened hours, often opening at the usual 11am and closing early in the evening rather than the standard 10pm.
- Normal service. Locations inside malls and entertainment complexes usually follow the property, and city-center restaurants in dense markets frequently trade straight through.
Call the specific restaurant in the week before the holiday. Aggregator listings and map pins are wrong about holiday hours more often than they are right, and turning up to a dark storefront with six people is a bad Thursday. Thanksgiving falls on a Thursday, which in the normal structure means lunch at $24.99 between 11am and 3pm and weekday dinner at $32.99 from 4pm. Do not treat that as guaranteed. Some locations run holiday pricing at the $36.99 weekend rate on major holidays, and some suspend the lunch tier for the day. Ask when you call about hours — it is a $12 a head question, which for a party of eight is nearly a hundred dollars.
Why it works for a holiday group
Setting the turkey question aside, KPOT solves several real Thanksgiving problems. Nobody cooks. Nobody hosts. There are no leftovers to store and no dishes. The Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving are among the busiest shifts of the year at any mall-adjacent location, and all three fall in the $36.99 weekend tier — Friday from 4pm, Saturday and Sunday all day.
