There is no hidden Dallas BBQ menu. No secret handshake, no off-book build with a name the regulars know. What there is — and it is more useful — is a price list with real exploits in it, where the bigger drink sometimes costs the same as the smaller one and the combo is genuinely cheaper than its parts. These are the tricks that survive contact with an actual server on a Friday night.

The shooter is free at two sizes out of three
This is the single best-known trick and it holds up. A Small Frozen Cocktail is $10.99 and a Small Frozen Cocktail w/Shooter is $10.99. A Large Frozen Cocktail is $16.99, and Large Frozen Cocktail w/Shooter is $16.99. Identical prices. Declining the shooter at Regular or Texas size is simply leaving liquor on the table for no reason.
The Super Texas is where it changes: $24.99 without the shooter, $26.99 with. Two dollars is fair for the upgrade, but note that it is the only size where you actually pay for it.
Size up, then split
Volume does not scale with price. A standard frozen cocktail goes $10.99 to $16.99 to $24.99 — you pay 2.3x from Regular to Super Texas and get considerably more than 2.3x the drink. One Super Texas and two straws beats two Texas sizes, every time.
The outright pricing anomaly is the Moscato. TX Moscato Mamacita is $19.99. Super TX Moscato Mamacita is also $19.99. Same money, much bigger glass. Nothing else on the drinks list does that, and it is the closest thing to a secret this restaurant has.
Two more from that table. The RG Classic Hennessy Colada at $14.99 is $1.50 under the standard Hennessy Colada at the same size and drinks nearly identically — order the Classic. And the Super Texas Size Virgin Frozen at $14.99 gets a non-drinker the same absurd goblet for less than half the price of the cognac version, which is the best non-alcoholic order in any barbecue chain in New York.
Combos beat a la carte, except when they do not
- Order the combo, not the chicken. The Chicken & Baby Back Ribs Combo ($17.99) is $5.00 over the 1/2 Chicken ($12.99) and adds a whole second protein. Nothing else on the menu adds that much for that little.
- Never order Double Rack Ribs. It is $27.99; two Half Rack Ribs at $12.99 each is $25.98 for the same bones and two dollars back.
- Always order wings in tens. Five pieces at $13.99 is roughly $2.80 a wing; ten at $22.99 is about $2.30. Texas Wings are a dollar under at both counts — $12.99 and $21.99.
- Boneless is free. Every flavor costs exactly the same boneless as bone-in. Most chains charge a premium; this one does not.
- Chili Mac undercuts Mac & Cheese. Chilli Mac is $5.99 a cup and $10.99 a bowl against $6.49 and $11.99 for plain mac — the version with more in it is the cheaper one.
- Chili by the quart. $12.99 a quart against $8.99 a bowl — the quart is less than two bowls and it reheats better than it arrives.
Off-menu-ish requests that servers will actually take
Nothing here requires a wink. Ask for sauce on the side and the sticky glaze arrives in a cup — the right call if half of it is going home. Swap the side: Yellow Rice, Side of Fries, Baked Potato, Cole Slaw and Side Avocado are all $4.99, so never accept the default. Order Tempura Broccoli (Half) at $9.99 over Veg Tempura (Half) at $8.99 — a dollar more and a much better dish, the one place here where paying up is correct.
